A delegation from Radian Engineering Consultants, led by Eng. Sultan Al-Oqab, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, discussed opportunities for cooperation with the Syrian Ministry of Energy in strategic water studies and integrated infrastructure solutions.
As part of efforts to strengthen Arab cooperation, Eng. Osama Abu Zaid, Assistant Minister of Energy for Water Resources Affairs, received a delegation from Radian Engineering Consultants led by Eng. Sultan Al-Oqab, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company, at the General Directorate of Water in Damascus.
The delegation presented a selection of projects delivered by the company in Saudi Arabia and outlined potential work in Syria’s water sector. The proposed scope includes comprehensive strategic studies of current and future water demand based on population and geographic coverage, while accounting for groundwater resources and supply systems comprising pipelines, networks, stations and reservoirs, supported by advanced engineering software and technologies.
Eng. Abu Zaid affirmed the Ministry of Energy’s readiness to cooperate with its Saudi counterparts and to work towards securing the required water supply and advancing sustainability in this vital sector.
