Al-Nukhba Master Plan – Riyadh, Officially Inaugurated by the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing

Al-Nukhba in Riyadh is a major urban development covering 5.4 million m² and comprising more than 9,000 residential and commercial units. It forms an integrated community combining residential and commercial uses, services, public facilities, open spaces, roads and infrastructure networks.

Radian Engineering Consultancy undertook planning, design, engineering management and construction supervision throughout the development process. Its role began with urban planning, land-use allocation, detailed planning and engineering design, and extended to roads, infrastructure, utilities and services, construction management and supervision, engineering monitoring, quality control, coordination and resolution of challenges and constraints through to final approval of the master plan.

The development includes villas, residential apartment buildings, commercial areas, mosques, educational and healthcare facilities, municipal and security facilities, parks, sports facilities, parking, pedestrian paths, and an integrated network of roads, streets, services and infrastructure. These create a comprehensive urban environment meeting residents’ and users’ needs and accommodating Riyadh’s rapid urban growth.

The master plan received final approval from Riyadh Municipality. The developer also commended Radian’s performance in a letter of appreciation, recognising its technical competence and constructive cooperation in completing engineering works and overcoming obstacles through to final approval. This reflects Radian’s ability to manage large real estate developments from planning and design through approval and implementation.

The development was officially inaugurated by the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, who also witnessed the signing of agreements to establish related real estate investment funds exceeding SAR 9 billion. This reflects the project’s scale, investment value and standing among Riyadh’s prominent urban and real estate developments.
