Radian Engineering Consultancy delivered comprehensive road studies and engineering designs for Al-Qassim Municipality, covering roads, arterial routes, junctions and road improvement and capacity-upgrade projects. The scope extended from studies and topographic surveys through to engineering designs, construction drawings and tender documentation.
Radian’s scope included studies and designs for primary and secondary roads; junction design and traffic analysis; topographic surveys; existing-condition assessments; road and alignment definition; levels and longitudinal and cross-sections; and the design of pavements, footways, traffic islands, parking and road safety features. It also included coordination with existing utilities and infrastructure networks and the assessment of conflicts.
Radian’s responsibilities extended to final and detailed drawings, quantity calculations, bills of quantities, specifications, cost estimates and tender documents, together with technical alternatives, engineering coordination and liaison with government authorities and utility providers before design approval.
