Integrated Planning, Design and Construction Supervision for More Than 3 Million m²
Tilal Al-Shorouq is a major development and logistics project in eastern Riyadh covering more than 3 million m². It was developed as an integrated investment environment serving warehouses, modern workshops, consolidation and distribution centres, storage and logistics services, supporting the capital’s economic and urban expansion and its role as a principal logistics hub.
Radian Engineering Consultancy provided a comprehensive consultancy package encompassing strategic planning studies, replanning and development of the master plan, improvements to operational efficiency, and completion of engineering requirements and procedures through to final approval and transfer of title deeds for plots designated for sale by the relevant authorities.
Radian also prepared detailed infrastructure and utility designs, including roads, levels and pedestrian routes; water networks; stormwater and flood drainage and hydrological protection; electricity networks, substation distribution and lighting; and telecommunications and telephone infrastructure, as an integrated system supporting the development’s logistics and industrial uses.
Radian provided comprehensive site supervision of construction and infrastructure networks, quality management, construction safety and programme monitoring, verifying that completed works complied with construction drawings and approving authorities’ requirements. Its role therefore extended from planning, redevelopment, studies, design and approvals through construction supervision and quality control.
