Independent Engineering Peer Review Framework Agreement for Diriyah Projects

Diriyah is one of Saudi Arabia’s most important and largest developments and a Public Investment Fund giga-project linked to Vision 2030. Located northwest of Riyadh along Wadi Hanifah, it holds exceptional historical significance as the birthplace of the Saudi state and home to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed At-Turaif district.

Diriyah is being developed as an integrated global destination combining culture, heritage, tourism, hospitality, housing, business, retail and leisure. The extensive urban development encompasses hotels, resorts and residential, commercial, office, cultural and leisure projects, together with advanced infrastructure, utilities and services.

Within this major development programme, Radian received an invitation from Diriyah Company to participate in Tender PW-FA25-245 for the MEP Peer Review Consultancy Services Framework covering Diriyah projects and assets.

The services encompass independent technical review and checking of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) designs and systems submitted by international engineering firms. They include verification of multidisciplinary integration, deliverable quality and compliance with Saudi codes, international standards and global best practice; technical coordination with stakeholders; Building Information Modelling (BIM); and digital delivery.

The invitation carries particular significance because peer review requires the consultant to act as an independent technical reviewer of engineering designs and deliverables within a multidisciplinary programme with demanding technical requirements.
