Radian Engineering Consultancy provided consultancy and engineering services supporting an extensive portfolio of Saudi diplomatic mission projects worldwide, including embassy buildings and residences for heads of mission, across multiple countries and continents.

The project involved exceptional engineering and regulatory complexity across international settings, each with its own engineering codes and standards, planning and urban regulations, climatic and cultural conditions, and site characteristics. Radian assessed each country’s and project’s context and requirements and reconciled them with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ requirements to develop buildable engineering solutions compliant with each location’s regulatory framework.

Radian’s role included reassessing and developing designs, reviewing and approving designs prepared by other firms, preparing technical specifications and tender documentation, and providing construction supervision and centralised project management through a multidisciplinary operation based at the Ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh.

Radian’s successful management of this international scope was recognised through two formal letters of thanks and appreciation from the Ministry. They commended its outstanding performance, completion to schedule, compliance with approved specifications and standards, flexibility and effective cooperation with the Ministry’s team, and its contribution to completing studies, designs and supervision and achieving the contract’s objectives.
